Visit the Getty Center | Getty

I've lived here for 30 years and The Getty Center remains one of my favorite places. Take the train, wander around outside, see the show you came for and then three more and then go see the newish Artemisia Gentileschi. You can bring your lunch and eat it on the top level balcony with sweeping views of LA. It's open until 9pm on Saturdays so it's a great date night, take in the sunset and get a glass of wine and see some art and the Irwin Garden, you can't lose. I like to walk back down so that I can see the deer.
